Class A CDL Petroleum Transport Driver – Phoenix, AZ

Transport and/or Tankwagon Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of gasoline, diesel and other refined petroleum products to regional commercial customers. The Transport and/or Tankwagon Driver is responsible for all aspects of safely driving and operating a tank truck and trailer in compliance with all company safety standards, industry guidelines, and all relevant federal, state and local laws.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED; college, technical / trade school education is desired.
  • Current valid Commercial Driver’s License, with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required, Double/Triple endorsement a plus.
  • 2 years of professional truck driving experience, as well as experience related to petroleum trucking and loading and unloading petroleum, or similar relevant experience is strongly desired.
  • Clean driving record (not more than 3 violations and no DUI accidents in past 3 years).
  • Pass DOT drug and alcohol screening, DOT physical, 10 year FMCSA employment and safety background and 7 year criminal background check.

Delivery of petroleum products, chemicals, petrochemicals, in cargo tanks, drums, pails, cases and totes between points in Arizona.  Responsible for all aspects of safely driving and operating a commercial vehicle in compliance with all company safety standards, industry guidelines, and all relevant federal, state and local laws.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED; college, technical / trade school education is desired.
  • Current valid Commercial Driver’s License, with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required,

Petroleum Billing Associate - Tucson, AZ

STATUS:  Permanent, Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt
STARTING PAY:  Commensurate w/ Experience, Eligible for Annual Performance Bonus

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:  The duties and responsibilities of the Billing Associate include, but are not limited to:

  • Process daily invoices: Sort billing paperwork and match bills of lading with delivered orders, calculate freight charges, price invoices, enter purchased product into inventory, confirm sales and post to customer accounts, reviewing each step for accuracy to avoid credit and rebills, and credit and rebill when necessary.
  • Research all discrepancies on customer account billings, inventory, terminal and accounts payable differences.
  • Grasp solid understanding of processes and have ability to correct any errors and properly respond back to the appropriate department and/or customer.
  • Review and reconcile all FIFO (first in, first out) inventory on a daily basis to assure that all deliveries have been billed to the customer.
  • Review and reconcile the open order list and post open orders.
  • Assist with month end closing as pertains to billing.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve company, product, systems and application knowledge.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications or Skills Required:

  • Degree in accounting is a definite plus; or at a minimum possesses a general knowledge of accounting principles and practices along with at least two years’ experience in a payables or accounting position.
  • Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word, Excel, and computerized accounting systems.
  • Possess good mathematical and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, detailed oriented and a willingness to take ownership and follow through.
  • Must work well under pressure to insure that all processing is performed within the required time frames.
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and proven record of dependability are essential.
  • Willingness to accept other additional responsibilities as requested.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new processes and new technology.

Behavior: 

  • Ability to work on process improvement to simplify and increase the effectiveness of the process
